Rocky is a survivor, that’s how he got his name. He showed up at my barn, cold, dirty, and hungry. His green eyes are the first thing I noticed about him. He looked right at me, and I knew I had to help him. The vet wasn’t sure Rocky could get better, but with a bath, some antibiotics, and wormer, regular meals, and a warm place to sleep, he was bouncing back within a few days. He gained a pound and a half in 3 weeks and continues to enjoy his meals! He’s up to about 9 pounds now. His coat is a beautiful cloud of soft gray and he loves to be brushed and petted. Though Rocky is a survivor, he enjoys a warm bed and a loving belly rub. That’s when he turns on his purring engine!
Rocky would probably adapt to any home, but he is still getting used to being around people and a quiet home would probably be best for him. I believe he would be a loving, loyal, life companion.
