Zelda Adopted 10-12-17

Breed:  Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler - Pit Bull Terrier (mix)
Age: 4 yrs       Gender:  Female
Weight:    Other:
Altered: Yes

Zelda has been with us for almost 2 years!! We rescued this sweet, petite girl along with her babies who were all adopted quickly but Zelda remained behind. Zelda is what you get when someone gets a puppy and then doesn't put any sort of structure or training into them..... but her amazing foster dad has been working with her and has taught her doggie manners. She rides with him in his semi five days a week meeting new friends every day. In the evening they go to the dog park and she gets along well with all her new doggie friends. At home she will just chill, happy to hang out or nap while she's alone. She doesn't get into things and doesn't need to be crated. She is a talker and will make you smile with her "conversations". We just aren't sure about cats. If they hold their own she'd probably leave them alone, but if they'd run she might chase them. Perhaps a swipe from a cat paw might make her think twice. We just don't know. She's on the small side but is very strong and probably wouldn't do well with small kids or small dogs. She would do best with a owner who will continue her training and know how to control a strong dog who just wants to play. She is awesome dog and with some serious polishing of her rough edges, she will absolutely shine! She is a happy girl who has a lot of love and just needs an owner who will give her the guidance she needs. She is 4 years old and her adoption fee is $150 fully vetted. Save Ohio Strays does not have a shelter. Our animals are cared for in foster homes and the first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application at the link on our website at: Save Ohio Strays does NOT claim or guarantee any breeds given in this description.
