DeeDee

Breed:  Domestic Short Hair - buff (mix)
Gender:  Female
Altered: Yes   Ref. no.: 070628Q-2 R

DeeDee, originally Divette when she was rescued ten years ago, was a new momma that had tried to raise her litter on a golf course that was threatening to shoot them all. SOS stepped in and helped her and another momma, and twelve babies. We placed this sweet girl (who obviously did not have the kindest of starts), but she was returned a few years later when the family member could no longer keep her. She landed with a senior, and they kept each other company for years. Her momma passed suddenly, and now she is back in foster care yet again. She is a quiet, stately senior with adorable mannerisms and cooing. She loves to be loved on, but it has to initially be on her terms. She can be a bit picky about needing time to get to know you as she is shy, and has been abused early in life. DeeDee prefers to be the only pet. She has adorable white paws, peaches and cream coat, and beautiful eyes. She is fully up to date on shots and just had a dental. If you have a quiet loving home consider giving this sweet senior a retirement home. We offer the adoption of our felines over 8 months old for only $10 for the entire year! This will not only give our wonderful adults a forever home, but will allow us the opportunity to save more lives by opening up our foster homes to more animals in need. What a wonderful companion she would be for a senior citizen. We do not have a shelter. Our animals are cared for in foster homes and the first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application at the link on our website at: www.saveohiostrays.org.
