Iris

Breed:  German Shepherd Dog (mix)
Age: 10 yrs       Gender:  Female
Weight: 77 pounds   Other:
Altered: Yes   Ref. no.: 170706-2

There are two things Iris loves - people and food! She likes other dogs and is ok with cats and kids too. She is very loyal and loves her people! She adores car rides, is very smart and eager to please. She knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, speak & paw shake and would love to learn more. Hanging out with you and snoozing are two expectations she has for her new home. Iris is 10 years young. She is housebroken, spayed, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and microchipped. When she first came to Save Ohio Strays, she was extremely overweight. She has done a remarkable job at losing the weight and is highly food motivated and will always need to be on a portion controlled eating plan. She has some mobility issues due to arthritis and takes medication to help with that and loves to go for leisurely walks. Iris is in good health for a dog her age and size. She is looking for a calm household with a family that will love and adore her. If you would like to meet Iris, please put in an application. My adoption fee is $75 fully vetted. Save Ohio Strays does not have a shelter. Our animals are cared for in foster homes and the first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application at the link on our website at: www.saveohiostrays.org. Save Ohio Strays does NOT claim or guarantee any breeds given in this description. These strays come from shelters so there is usually no further knowledge. These are best guess descriptions for breed. SOS NEVER ships pets and will not adopt out to a driving radius greater than 3 hours from Medina, Ohio.
