Mia and Asta came from the Morrow County Shelter where they were rescued from a horrible hoarding situation. They were housed in the same cage at the shelter and the foster home has come to realize they absolutely love each other. They eat together, play together and sleep together side by side. In fact, most of their pics are of the 2 of them together!! We would love these two girls get adopted together but we understand that may not be possible. They are young (about 1 1/2 yrs) and would probably bond just fine with a dog in the existing home, but if you have room they would love to stay with their best friend. From Asta- I am a super sweet lovey-dovey dog that has a wiggle butt and loves to cuddle! And, I am told, that my very unique brindle ears and multicolored eyes and spotted nose are gorgeous! I came from the Morrow County shelter with my best friend Mia (the dog with big brown patches also shown in pictures.) We were part of a hoarding situation. Mia and I get along great with each other and we also love the other dogs in our foster home. I like to sit and watch what is happening in the yard. I also love to run and play with my dog friends. I have had a limp in my back right leg that I'm hopeful will resolve with some limited activity while I heal from my spay operation. It might be instinct for me to hunt for small animals, but I have been OK with the Chihuahua in my pack when I learned he is my pack mate. And I would likely be OK with a dog savvy cat. I would love to stay with my friend, but if you have a home to offer that only has room for me, I can make new friends-- I'm sure of it! Save Ohio Strays announces a Dog Days of Summer promotion!
